READ posters

In response to Lyn B. McCree's Home made READ posters I thought I would
share an additional related idea.

Three years ago I took pictures of each of the faculty reading a favorite
book and enlarged the photos to 8 X 10. I put them on a bulletin board
under the heading "Leaders of Readers". Then the students got excited and I
took pictures of them but did not enlarge them.  I put the students
pictures on an adjoining board under the caption "Look Who's also READING!!"

I'm doing it again this year.Since it's several years ago it's new to the
students and some of the faculty.  This year I'm also going into the
community to get "Community Leaders of Readers" photographs.  We then
invite these leaders in to see our high school library.

This is not exactly the READ posters but still fun for everyone concerned.
