Java Script Error

Hello,

I had the following message when opening up Netscape:

JavaScript Error:http://home.netscape.com
                line 45
illegal character

var rVal=newobject(); rVal.exists=0;rVal.valu

Does anyone have a clue as to what this means?  Thanks for your help.
