ELEM: Book request

I have a student assistant in my high school library who needs our
help.  Let me first explain that I take a special concern for Jessica
because her mother is dying of cancer, and I feel that if I can provide
something that she would find comforting I want to do that for her.

Jessica wants to find a book she remembers from her elementary school
library.  We've checked with the school and with her former librarian,
and the book has gone missing from our county.  I've also checked
Amazon.com for the book, but it is out of print.  Even the used book
dealer I usually use didn't have one.  So, I am wondering if any of you
might have the book in your library, and if
so would you be willing to sell it to me so that I can give it to
Jessica?

The title of the book is "My Friend, the Vampire."  If you might be able
to provide this for me, please
e-mail me at debwaugh@inetone.net, and I'll make arrangements to send
you payment for it.
