summer reading enrichment courses

I have been asked to come up with a great reading program for a summer
enrichment program at our local technical college.  The program called
"Kids College" will involve several groups of children: 3-5 years old, 1-2
grade, 3-4 grade,  5-6 grade and 7-8 grade.  In the past I have combined
reading with cooking.  This has worked well, but I need a new slant on the
reading/cooking course or a totally new course.  I have until Friday (yes,
this Friday) to come up with some basic ideas.  Can anyone help?
