Elem: 6 Day Schedules

Greetings,
 We are investigating the option of using a 6 day schedule in our K-3
and 4-5 buildings.
 I know this has been discussed before, but I could only locate
"targets" in the archives, no hits.
 Am looking for successes as well as problems.
