Proposed blocking legislation

I have been hearing talk of proposed legislation that would require public
schools to use blocking/filtering software?  Has anyone else heard this
rumor?


Also, are any of you using a company that blocks sites at your server that
you have specified by topic/type?  If so, who is good/bad?  Any
suggestions?  Currently, our technology committee is debating on whether to
or not to block/filter.
