I'm with Ken. I buy the books I want to read and use the library
mainly for reference.  I remember countering teacher restrictions by
making a policy that teacher requests for a required type of book
were ** in addition ** to the regular circulation limits. Even in a
small library with very limited books, I felt that it was not fair to
the students to limit their reading.
