Friends & Colleagues: JavaScript is one of the new tools you can use to enhance your Web sites. I've just begun playing around with it, and have added a clock (with "stopwatch" capabilities) at: http://www.wcsu.k12.vt.us/~wardsboro/index.html#Stopwatch If anyone is interested, I will tell you how you can easily capture and append this JavaScript script to your page. Also check out: http://www.infohiway.com/javascript/indexf.htm which contains many free JavaScripts you can cut-and-paste into your pages. This site led me to The Ugly JavaScript Book by John H. Keyes (a link to it is near the bottom of the page). Keyes's book is free (although I am certainly going to send him the $9.95 he used to charge for it), and is invaluable in introducing the novice to JavaScript. -Dale -- Dale Copps, dcopps@together.net Librarian & Technology Coordinator Wardsboro (VT) Elementary School http://www.wcsu.k12.vt.us/~wardsboro =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= To quit LM_NET (or set NOMAIL or DIGEST), Send an email message to listserv@listserv.syr.edu In the message write EITHER: 1) SIGNOFF LM_NET 2) SET LM_NET NOMAIL or 3) SET LM_NET DIGEST * NOTE: Please allow time for confirmation from Listserv.
