This device was a little different, however. Instead of the up and down arrow, there would actually be pages. The pixels on the pages would have 2 sides-- a white and a black. When you went to download the book, the pixels would turn to black or white to make the words. You would then have the look and the feel of a book (I imagine this other device mentioned would look more like an enlarged Game Boy). I think that this technology was supposed to be something like 10 years off. This does have interesting implications to the library world, though. Give it a few generations, and the whole concept of a library will be changed!
