TECH: Audio files...

Hello everyone ...


Question for you techie types - alas, I'm not one - why would a computer play 
downloaded .wav files and other audio which comes through attached to e-mail 
messages and NOT play audio when visiting web site with background files of music?


Any comments and suggestions would be helpful ... I would like the students to hear 
the music when we visit web sites ...


Pentium machine; Win95; neither Netscape 4.05 nor MS IE 4.0 will play music...

I can go to Kathy Schrock's site and download her welcome message and hear it ...


Whasupwiddis?
