It's satisfying somehow for most of us to hear that hotmail closed the account. But chances are "candy" had no intention of using that acct after the initial spam. Spammers like that open and close accounts by the minute to send off their junk mail. Closing the account will have had little to no impact on the spammer or on the problem. I'm not sure the solution, but just complaining to hotmail really isn't going to do much to change things... unless they respond by not allowing ppl to sign up for email accounts anonymously... And that, in part, defeats their purpose... -- -- Joni Rathbun | jrathbun@orednet.org -- Monthly Newsletter: Bookmarks @ http://lincolncity.org/bookmarks http://lincolncity.org & http://lincolncity.org/schools -- If you need a vacation you should see the state I'm in! -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= To quit LM_NET (or set NOMAIL or DIGEST), Send an email message to listserv@listserv.syr.edu In the message write EITHER: 1) SIGNOFF LM_NET 2) SET LM_NET NOMAIL or 3) SET LM_NET DIGEST * NOTE: Please allow time for confirmation from Listserv.
