Our school spent a delightful morning yesterday with a wonderful
illustrator. His name is Dominic (Nick) Catalano. He brought copies of
works in progress, talked about the ways he finds authors, and shared
some of his stories.
Mr. Catalano says he loves to work with school children to write and
publish books and is available for both daylong and longer workshops.
For those of you not familiar with his books, he has illustrated
Bernard's Bath, Merry Christmas, Old Armadillo, Christine San Jose's
Sleeping Beauty, The bear who loved Puccini, and several others. I
checked various reviews and all were enthusiastic about his artwork.
