I heard a news report today on a new 'filtering' option on Lycos. It was reported as a way for parents to 'filter' out sexually oriented sites from a Lycos search. I went to the Lycos site and finally found it as SafetyNet. In the description, it states that by turning the feature on, it forces sexually oriented sites to the bottom of a search set. It will be interesting to see if the other search engines implement something similar. If anyone has 'oops' searches from last year it would be interesting to know if the feature works as advertised. (it *would* come out when most of the list is one vacation <grin>) Dan Robinson Indexing Services H.W.
