The Sneetches, "they have stars upon thars".

A wonderful story about prejudice, included in the book The Sneetches and
other stories (I think...)... Pardon the guesswork as to exact wording and
lack of capitalization.  Other stories in the book are Twenty-three Daves (one
of my all-time favorites-who could ever forget "Marvin O'Gravel Balloon-
face???), a story about an east-going and west-going Zak (stubborness) and
something about green pants with noone inside them (about fear of the
unknown).  I grew up with this book and it was a household fave.
