Until recently we held gradecards for overdue books from the high school library. Now the policy that permitted this has been changed. Students will not be able to get transcripts, diplomas etc. untill outstanding fees of all kinds are paid, but in the meantime I have no way of getting students to take care of therir obligations. Could you let me know if you hold grade cards in your high school for overdue books and fines, or, if not, how you manage to get library obligations taken care of? At the moment we do not have an automated circulation system. The bookkeeping alone is getting overwhelming. Thanks for your input.
