Richard Wurman has a wonderful book  _Information Anxiety_   which
addresses the overload syndrome we all experience in new and different
situations.  I bring this book to the attention of all students who take

my class, then point out that working toward information literacy is at
least a good start toward reducing this anxiety.  I highly recommend
this book .
