In reply to the request to post the "hits" I recieved about maps of early explorers. Here they are: First I want to thank everyone for their help. I also want to thank you for ignoring the glaring spelling error. I am like everyone who makes "typo" type errors. Too little time, too little print size. I was reffered to the National Geographic, Feb. 1998 issue that had a fold out map of explorer routes. I had that and it was used for a display in the classroom. The teacher and I decided to issue blank maps and have students draw their own routes for thier explorer. I found a Book titled JOURNEYS OF THE GREAT EXPLORERS. Published by Facts on File. I borrowed the book through Interlibrary Loan. And will add it to my collection. It is a great book. Janet Diem sent me a recommendation for a CD-ROM called Exlporers of the New World from Future Vision Multimedia. Available from Follett Software for $14.95. I will add this also. Finally, I was sent a web page address from Kathy Piercey. http://www.maps.com/EDU/DEMOS/WRLHO1OH-pdf. This never worked for me. If you see this Kathy is it correct? Again Thanks for your time and sugesstions.
