Hi, I am taking a class in Library Science and have the following question: Respond to Turkish-born Talat S. Halman's statement: " In the next millennium, in the anticipated 'Age of Information,'librarians will hold the information-hungry world in their hands". Do you see this happening? How? Are libraries and librarians moving in the right direction to supply this information? It says "you may use quotes from others," so don't be afraid you are going to be helping me too much. I am interested in the opinions of others when it has to do with the library. I think it is helpful to know whether you think we are moving in the right direction or not. My world here is a very small world. Just e-mail me direct. dhemm@santel.net Thanks.
