Thanks to Australian and American colleagues who assisted wit this information

We have a copy of The Catcher in the Rye and Nine Stories - NOTES by
Coles 1986. You are welcome to them. Let me know and I will post them
for use use for the duration.

Gale Research Co is publishing a new series called Novels for Students.
Vol 1 has Catcher in the Rye in it. They give an author biography, plot
summary, charachters, themes, style, historical context, critical
overview, and criticism, all in about 10 pages. These books are rated
very highly by my English teachers. You might want to try to locate
them.

I have a learning packet from The Perfection Form Co. in Logan, Iowa 51546
on THE CATCHER IN THE RYE. It is their Contemporary Classics - Horizons
in Literature Series. They have a catalog.

NEA Today published a list of the Ten Most Taught Novels in High Schools
and Catcher in the Rye was one of them.

I've saved these from various messages posted on LM-NET. Hope it helps
you!!
