ELEM: Storybk Weaver vs. SWeaver Deluxe

Hello, All,
        I am interested in the difference between Storybook Weaver and
Storybook Weaver Deluxe (MECC).  A number of years ago, I took a class
that used one of these, and in the choices of scenery, there was an
option to shade the scenes according to the time of day.  This was on a
Mac.  We now have a CD version (hybrid) of Storybook Weaver Deluxe
v.2.0 running on a PC, but there is no option to change the time of day
for shading, at least that I can find.  Can anyone shed some light on
this or offer a suggestion as to which version is better?  TIA
