Thanks for posting my anonymous posting a couple of weeks ago. The
discussion seems to have died down, so maybe you would want to share
with the group a summary.

Most people felt that it is time for me to move on, as the current
administration does not value the librarian's expertise. I am heeding
that advise, and looking for another position. Since we do not have
contracts, I am not saying anything to anyone until I find another
job. With graduation on 15 May, I think I probably will still be here
until then, but, God willing, I won't be here when school starts
again in August.

Several people commented that I should get input from the teachers,
and I do agree with that. I still have a problem with having the
teachers actually selecting the books from advertisements!

No one agreed with the Headmaster that the library doesn't need an
internet connection. No one had any ideas of how to convince him,
either!

Anyway, thanks again for helping me out with this touchy situation.
It was kind of fun to read the side discussion about why the
anonymous posting was permitted.  For the record, I've been on here
for a couple of years now, and have posted for the group once in a
while, but I often answer privately, usually 2-3 answers each day.
