Dear LM_NETers, I need your help for a question I have about how school districts do their cataloging. We are a district of about 10,000 students in 3 high schools, 3 middle schools and 16 elementary schools. We pay a cataloger to do our cataloging at the public library and we contract with Minitex for OCLC services. How many of you out there of comparable size are doing a similar thing and can you give me a ball park figure of how much you pay for these services including the OCLC access? If you don't outsource, can you let me know how you do your cataloging and why you do or don't use OCLC? If there is a hit on this in the archives, I haven't found it, but if you know where I should look, please advise. I need this help ASAP and I thank you very much in advance.
