TECH: POWERPOINT

I am taking a class that requires me to use PowerPoint 97 on a PC.  I
own a MAC and have PowerPoint 4.0.  Here is my problem.  If I create
something on the MAC and  PP 4.0, I save it to a DOS format and can open

on the PC  in PP97.  But when I saved with the PC, I no longer could
open it up with the MAC abd PP4.0.  Any suggestions?
