Hi all, Our district is planning on converting our H.S. gymnasium in a LMC. Many of you helped me gather information about where this has been done before and what we need to watch out for. Met with architects a few weeks ago and expressed concerns/issues such as lighting, acoustics, electrical, ventilation, proximity to cafeteria, etc. One thing that came up that we need to explore further is that the LMC will be located adjacent to the newly expanded swimming pool - the concerns I raised at our previous meeting with the architect were about humidity, smell of chlorine, and noise from the pool area. Was told that these "will not be an issue". Anybody out there who has experienced this kind of relocation of your LMC? Do I need to be concerned or is it really "not an issue"? TIA!
