Target: M.S. Reading Incentive Programs/Contests

I am the librarian at a 6th through 8th grade middle school.  The
reading specialist and I are considering running a reading incentive
program or contest to encourage reading (of course).  If anyone has had
successful programs for this age group, I would appreciate hearing from
you.  We need some ideas.
