AOL = America Online? Easy fix! Just go to your mail menu and look for the line that says "Read Old Mail" (or something similar); AOL keeps your read mail on its system for at least 1 day (I think you can set an option to make it as long as a week) after you've read it. So, _first go to you Preferences, and under Mail, check "Save all mail I read in my personal filing cabinet", so that there will also be a copy on your hard drive until you delete it, _then go as above and re-read your old mail again. Then whenever you need to refer to it, it's in your Filing Cabinet under Archives/Read Mail. (Make sure to delete stuff you don't need regularly to save space; on Windows you should also click on the Compact Filing Cabinet button regular to re-claim used space, but I don't know if that's necessary on a Mac.)
