Favorite childhood books

When my son was born I couldn't wait to get my favorite childhood book
(which my parents started hiding after the millionth reading)--Andrew
Henry's Meadow.  Great story!

I still enjoy rereading anything by Beverly Cleary as well as A Tree Grows
in Brooklyn.  Summer isn't complete if I don't read that.
