I remember the Landmark books, but I also think I remember a different set
"You were there when.... "   first person accounts not only American
historical events, but throughout the world/time. Does anyone else remember
these.  I really wish there was something similar now, except I suspect
these may not have been as historically accurate as we would demand in this
day and age.
