I'd like to hear other people's comments on this. Does it shorten the life of the computer to leave it running when not in use? We turn ours on first thing in the morning and leave them on all day. If I wait until a class comes in, I look up and say, "Oh no! I forgot to turn them on ahead of time!!" And everybody has to sit and wait while they boot up. It's so much easier to just turn them on and leave them on. Is this the wrong thing to do?
