ELEM: LAB SOFTWARE

Hello all,
I need opinions and advice on basic software needs for a k-5 school
for the soon to be finished labs.  We are looking at keyboarding
(KidKeys and Ultrakeys have been mentioned to me--how are they or do
you have any favorites)  We are looking for a more simplified program
to be an alternative to Works which has already been ordered.  We are
looking at Hyperstudio and latest versions of Print Shop and/ or Kid
Pix.

What else do you highly recommend as we are at a critical stage of
decision making?
