This is a very talented author.  I highly recommend his 'Prentice
Alvin series about life in an alternate colonial America in which
magic works.  I also enjoyed Saints very much.  It's an historical
novel which gives life to the early Mormon experience in England and
also Nauvoo, Illinois.  Bye.  John
