Hi, Everybody. This message is for anyone familiar currently with PA law or has a source for pulling the answer out of a hat! I received an outdated section from a handbook today and I believe that it is truly historic. I do not believe that the following code exists having checked on line with the PA Dept of Education. It is as follows: "In accordance with the Dept. of Education, Chapter 5, Section 5.7, THIRTY hours of Information-Management Skills must be taught and documented in the Senior High School." Can anyone find this anywhere? Does anyone have the THIRTY hour requirement? I wish to prove that this is not the case. I am aiming to incorporate library skills in context and saying 'here are the encyclopedias' just does not cut it. This is what this two page handout is about. Also, if anyone in PA or elsewhere is willing to share how they are incorporating skills and classroom teachers, that would be great. Thanks.
