TARGET: Year Round School

Fellow LM-Netters:
Our school district is considering a year round schedule.School would be
in session on a 9 week on 3 week off pattern. During the weeks off,
classes would be held for those students who are needing extra
help(safety net)I'm sure this has been on the list-serv before but I did
not find much in the archives.Please share with me the pros and cons for
school libraries in terms of staffing, programming, etc.
I understand that there are many positive benefits for student
achievement but I am interested specifically in what I should be
thinking about in terms of impact on the library.I'll post a HIT if
there's lots shared.Thanks!
