An African American mother took the book to Central officer with her
complaint.

I have not had a chance to meet with her yet, but need your help. Does
anyone have Greenfield's address on-line? I would like a justification
from an African American author as to why they use the "N" word---

Also, I work to teach kids that words in and of themselves have no power
and are neither good nor bad--but most teachers tell students that words
such as "stupid" are inherently bad-----

Suggestions please before Monday.........

the questions themselves. Do not now seek the answers which cannot
be given because you would not be able to live them. And the point
is to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then
gradually without noticing it, live along some distant day into the
answers." -- Maria Rilke "Letters to a Young Poet"
