Could someone please clarify a copyright point for me? I've checked the archives and
can't find my specific question addressed. A teacher wants to take a book (Cynthia
Rylant's Gooseberry Park) and make it into a play for his class to perform. As I
understand the copyright laws, he would need permission to do this because the
copyright holder has the right to control adaptations of the work. Is this correct?
