Could someone please clarify a copyright point for me? I've checked the archives and can't find my specific question addressed. A teacher wants to take a book (Cynthia Rylant's Gooseberry Park) and make it into a play for his class to perform. As I understand the copyright laws, he would need permission to do this because the copyright holder has the right to control adaptations of the work. Is this correct? June Muldner, LMS George H.
