One of my favorite activities worked well with a group of gifted 4th
graders--we read How to Eat Fried Worms, and then created a little skit to
share with the other campers.  One mom made the "worms" out of meatloaf
mixture rolled in cormeal, and we all ate them at the end.  It was a great
hit.  Another time I had the kids create puppets to depict The Big Bad
Pigs and the Wolf (Scieska's book--that doesn't sound quite right), and
we performed it for the little ones.  Hope that helps.
