Target: Elementary Position

Job Opening:  Elementary Librarian in Sequim, Washington

Sequim is relatively small school district with two elementaries, one middle
school, and one high school.  All buildings are networked with T-1 Internet
access.  The libraries use the Windows version of Follett, on machines that
were new last Sept.  This job is at Helen Haller Elementary, grades K-5,
with five sections at each grade level.  There are 26 classroom teachers,
plus specialists.

Sequim is located in northwest Washington, on the Olympic Peninsula.
Victoria, British Columbia is directly across the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
Seattle is approx. 60 miles to the east.  It takes one hour to drive to the
ferry that delivers you to downtown Seattle.  Sequim is known as the place
where "it never rains,"  because the town sits in a rainshadow created by
the Olympic Mountains.  In actuality, rainfall averages 18 inches per year.
