Thank you to everyone who responded to my query about the classification
systems used in Europe.  Some of you were curious about what prompted my
AP to ask...   One of our retired teachers, with whom the AP has been
e-mailing, was the one who originally wanted to know (I'm not sure
why).  She is spending the year working in a school in New Guinea.
Thanks again, my AP was impressed!
