OOPS!!!  I guess I was so concerned about making sure I thanked everyone for their 
replies that I failed to share the results.  Thanks to a number of you for pointing 
that out.  It seems that Dewey wins as the most used system, but one response 
indicated that LC was used in some international databases, and various
other systems are in use throughout Europe (ie Russia, China, etc.).

Also, I have another question for you all--similar question but more specific.  
What my AP and her e-mail correspondent REALLY want to know is "what system is 
primarily in use in Germany???"  Any ideas?
