Information on Dr. Paula Ely?

I am currently part of an interview team helping to select a new
principal for our large elementary school. I would like to hear from
anyone who is familiar with Paula Ely. She is past principal at Margaret
Beeks Elem. in Blacksburg, Va. and Norton Elem. in Norton, Va. I
believe. We are losing our nationally acclaimed principal to another
district. Would appreciate any input. We have a wonderful, professional
and happy atmosphere within our school and would like to continue this.
Any info would be helpful as we make this decision.
