1. there are *far* more competent people than me to run computer labs.  i
see my job more as instructional in the use of the computer and it's
software, not being a network administrator.  maybe you got more of that
in your graduate program than i did.  districts are all big on buying lots
of equiptment/hardware, then they expect anyone already in the school to
be the support person.  and guess who that falls on many times just
because we know how to use the equiptment?

if we quit picking up the ball for them on this issue, maybe they will be
forced to hire specific people for that job?
