Re: TARGET: Follett (DOS) to Alexandria (MAC)

Dear LM-NET members,

I hope everyone is having a nice, restful summer!

I have a question.  Have any of you changed your automation system from
Follett for DOS to Alexandria for the Mac? All the library media
specialists in our system  have been using Follett with a DOS server and
just last year added Macintosh lookup stations because our schools have
MACs on the network.

Since we added the MAC lookup stations we have had many problems.  Because
of these  problems,  the primary school library media specialist in our
system is going to change to Alexandria for the Mac next fall.

I would love to hear from any people in schools that have networked
Macintosh computers who have made the transition from Follett to
Alexandria.
