Can anyone out there with a Mac network help? I was working with a friend
today trying to install a software program which is supposed to be
networkable and use it on her network. She has:
An Ethernet network
Apple workgroup server 7250/120
AppleShare
18 PowerMacs connected to the network

We were able to load the software on the server, and run it from any machine
(by accessing the server through the Chooser and then putting an alias of
the software on the hard drive of the machine). However, when we tried to
open it on a second machine, we would get the error message that the
software could not be opened because it was already in use. According to the
manufacturer, the software should be able to run with up to 22 users.

Is there perhaps a specific way we need to load the software on the server,
or access it from the client machines, or perhaps settings to set up in
AppleShare or with the Administrators Toolkit, so that multiple users can
access the software at the same time?

THANKS!!!
