Dear Fellow Georgians, This has been a strange week. First the whirlwind over Channel One, and now the Georgia Public Broadcasting Crisis. You may know that Governor Barnes administration recently audited GPB and find some financial descrepancies. This is unfortunate for many reasons, especially when you consider the scope of programming that comes to our state and region from GPTV, Peachstate Public Radio, and, of course, Peachstar. We have been very fortunate in Georgia that there is no charge to schools for Peachstar Programming, and I hope that this continues. We use Peachstar extensively at our school. That brings me to my request. On Thursday a reporter from the Atlanta Constitution is coming to our school. She writes a column and is reporting on schools that use Peachstar programming. I would like to share some positive comments with her when she visits on Thursday. Her name is Ann Hardie, and if you use Peachstar and wish to make a positive statement on behalf of Peachstar Educational Services, please e-mail me. I'll share these statements with her. Many thanks.
