I do remember that there was a brief discussion about block schedules a while back. I do know that there are a number of ways this has been done in school districts throughout the United States. Next year, we will have only our freshman students on a block schedule. It will be the 90 minute time frame. I see good application for it in phyics, chemistry and computer classes. I would like to know how this has impacted library services. I have read articles where the library has become a dumping ground because older teachers simply cannot change their respective styles. If you can relate your experiences with the block to our group, I would be appreciate it.
