LM Netters, I have just started my position as an Elementary SLMS. In the past, our library has had classes up to the last day of school. I would like to use the last week to take care of "library business." Please let me know what your end of the year procedure is including, when you "close" the library and exactly what tasks need to be taken care of before the end of the school year. I really appreciate everyone's expertise on this matter. I want to show what the norm is in "library world." The reason we keep the classes up to the bitter end is to accomodate the teacher prep period. I don't want to sound rude, but how much prep are we doing in the last week?
