GEN: Astute & Savvy Administrators

Scratch the surface and you'll find that information
savvy administrators almost always have a greatly
persuasive partner in the media center who has taken
the time to acquaint that administrator with the best
thinking about creating an information literate school
with a thriving media program.

Given the threat posed to library programs across
North America as many foolish leaders seem to think
the Internet reduces the need for books, libraries and
librarians, we all have serious work to do informing all
of our school partners of the centrality of information
power, information literacy and strong library programs.
