Members: I would like to return to the subject of online courses. With the shortage of teachers, our district is trying to find a new way to fill classrooms. Have any of your districts gone to this? I did look at The Kentucky Migrant Technology Project. Last fall district librarians and certain selected classes trained on EdNet through our local junior college. It was a good experience, but it was not continued even though it seemed to be a natural fit. Also, do any of you currnetly have internet links on your catalog? Our system, Gateway, does have it, and our local junior college uses Voyager which is wonderful. Please let me know what you are currently doing in your districts vis-a-vis distance learning or online courses.
