Hi, I am a new librarian at Jr. Sr. High School (grades 7-12) in New
Hampshire. I have inherited a past and ongoing issue with the maintenance
of our microfiche machine (it will read but continually has a printing
problem). We currently have a print collection of periodicals dating back
10 years, access to Electric Library, and Article Express which is a
document delivery service provided by our State Library. My question is
how do you feel about the continued value of the use of microfiche when
periodical literature is accessible through many other sources? My sense
is not to repair it, but I do not want to make a rash decision and seek
your experience, opinions, and help. Thank so much...........
