GEN: LONG overdue thank you to all of you...

I don't want to start an avalanche of thank you's, but I was watching OUR
librarian yesterday (our rooms are connected--computer lab/library)...and it
constantly amazes me that she, as well as you all, are so giving and caring
and ESPECIALLY so helpful to the kids, the staff, and to the public in
general. I know that in "service related jobs" such as yours, one is not
often thanked. Please know you ARE appreciated!

It must take a special personality to be a librarian/media specialist. The
ones I know all have a generous heart and are always saying, "Let's look it
up...let's see what we have..."--it's the "Let's" that makes you special;
it's the helpful attitude and quick smile that are so special.

So, in the season in which we are to be thankful, I HAD to write to say I am
thankful that so many of you chose this profession and that you have always
been kind and helpful to me. Know you are appreciated...you are!

Thank you for making your libraries/media centers inviting and
relaxing...and, sometimes, NOISY! (See, I DO readthe posts!!)
